One of the simplest pleasures of having easy access to the countryside is coming closer to nature. This weekend, GodzillaPin and the Ninja Turtle are back at Papa and Maman Rabbit’s place, where they have this:

Before you start thinking it’s a whole bunch of photos about NOTHING, recall that a few short weeks ago, there was panic in the media about a possible upcoming Nutella shortage due to hazelnut crops being “wiped out”.

Suddenly, these modest little squirrel-fodder become marble-sized precious commodities.

And after an hour and half of back-breaking hazelnut harvesting, they think they have amassed enough for... two weeks worth of Nutella?

Now all that’s left to do is to sort, clean, roast and make lots of unspeakably wonderful fall recipes.
